Kissing Like A Pro: 5 Essential Tips

When it comes to kissing, there is always a right way and wrong way. A first kiss can either propel a relationship to move forward, or cause it to stop dead in the water. It’s important to have all of the correct measures in place, as well as to have a clue as to what you’re doing.

Do It Right The First Time

It’s called a “first kiss” for a reason; you’re not going to get a second chance. This is precisely why you want the first kiss to be perfect, or as perfect as possibly. Follow these steps or suggestions to better prepare yourself and make your kissing abilities pro-worthy.

How’s Your Breath?

This is very important: check your breath. No one want to kiss someone with onion breath or right after they smoked a cigarette. Always brush your teeth; keep your mouth cleaned with toothpaste and/or mouthwash. Also, it may be a good idea to keep breath mints or gum around, just in case. Nothing will turn a girl offer faster than rotten breath.

Did You Shave?

Women don’t want to be pinched or scratched with poorly kept facial hair. You need to make a decision: either shave your face or keep you beard nice, long, and clean. It’s the little, prickly, in-between stuff that gets women upset and feeling itchy. Also, it would be wise to use a soothing or soft after shave or shaving cream, just to make the sides of your face feel that much more sleek and inviting. It’s practical to check out some of The Art of Shaving Tips.

Where Are You?

It’s important to be aware of your destination. Do you think your girl really wants to kiss you in public? In front of a bunch or people? She probably won’t want to kiss you in your parked car in a parking lot, either. Consider the perfect place or most romantic destination that would be appropriate for a kissing session. Perhaps there’s a nearby lake or park you could walk or drive to that would offer some sort of privacy. Remember to be respectful and find a suitable environment.

What’s That On Your Lip?

Never slobber! There’s nothing sexy about saliva, and chances are if you slobber on your girl, then you probably aren’t going to get a second kiss. Relax, calm down, and keep your fluids to yourself. If you think you might accidentally slobber (perhaps it’s out of your control), then pull away, take a few minutes to breathe and regain your coolness, and then try kissing her again.

And The Tongue

It’s important to be gentle, especially with your tongue. Again, be respectful and not overpowering or forceful.  Go with the flow and move slowly at first.

This ultimately leads to another great point: piercings. If you happen to have a tongue or lip ring, then you may wish to consider removing it before the big kiss; facial jewelry could get in the way.

Kissing is an important factor in a relationship, especially first kisses, as they only come around once. Don’t over analyze the situation, just be conscious of your partner and try to make the kiss as perfect as possible by following the mentioned tips above.
