The River Café
It was opened in its place back in 1977, when in this area of Brooklyn there was still a huge industrial center with coastal docks.

The uppermost floor of the building is completely open rooftop terrace-garden, where tables and sofas for guests are placed between the trees and shrubs. There are huge umbrellas over each table or sofa to provide guests with complete comfort in case of rain or hot weather, as well as gas heaters if the weather is cool.
Despite the fact that the establishment is called a bar, 230 Fifth offers guests not only cocktails and wine, but also a full menu. However, keep in mind that the kitchen is open until midnight.
In addition, on Saturdays and Sundays, from 10am till 4pm 230 Fifth provides a buffet-style brunch menu. Despite the good location of the bar and the exceptional view that opens to guests, its prices are average.

The restaurant is located in one of the most expensive hotels in New York – Mandarin Oriental. This means you get the exceptional quality of the kitchen, but also high prices.
Despite the name of the restaurant, it specializes in American cuisine, but, at the same time with a slight Asian touch. White tablecloths, wooden decoration and one of the largest wine lists in New York (more than 3 thousand items) make the Asiate a restaurant that is usually not visited daily, but on certain occasions.
The restaurant is located on the 35th floor of a high-rise building, right on the corner of Central Park. In addition to the park itself, you will have a view of Columbus Square, and Central Park South – the street with the most respectable hotels of New York.

The restaurant menu offers a large selection of American dishes prepared from fresh regional ingredients. Large selection of both meat and sea food products is available. The restaurant has a lounge bar, with a perfect selection of cocktails and wine.
Despite the somewhat outdated decor of the room, the price category of the restaurant and the View Bar Lounge is quite high.
